Life’s challenges can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face them alone. As a clinical psychologist, I offer a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences while feeling heard, supported, and understood.
With deep empathy and genuine care, I will honor your story and help you navigate a path forward that feels right for you. My expertise includes supporting individuals navigating chronic illness, cancer, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties, caregiver stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, general stress, and health-related behavior change.
I earned both my Master of Arts (2015) and Ph.D. (2022) in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. I completed an APA-accredited internship at the Detroit VA Medical Center, where I trained in health psychology, primary care mental health integration, the general mental health clinic, and the PTSD clinic. Following internship, I began a postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology at the Detroit VA, with rotations in palliative care, hospice, behavioral medicine, and integrated primary care. During this time, I transitioned into a staff psychologist role within the VA’s Oncology service, where I provided specialized mental health services to individuals and families navigating cancer diagnoses and treatment.
Drawing from this diverse clinical background, I take a collaborative and supportive approach-tailoring evidence-based strategies to your unique needs and circumstances. I frequently work with clients to improve emotional well-being, navigate health and relationship challenges, and build sustainable, values-based change. Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and thoughtful, and I strive to create a space where growth feels both possible and manageable.
I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions to support flexibility and comfort in your care. Your well-being is my priority, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
Healing is not a destination but a journey, and each step forward is a stepping stone toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. You are not alone. I am honored to walk alongside you on this path.
